Two little cuties, adorable in pretty pink dresses.
After dropping off Addison in her class, I walked out to the car and saw Bo and the triplets getting out of the van, so I got lots of hugs and took their picture to send to the family group text like we do every morning.
And Emerson did good at drop-off with Daddy today.
Now that Addison is in a new classroom, her teachers this week have been sending us lots of photos, which I’m loving. Looks like she had a good day!
I picked up Emmie first today, and then her and I got Addie from school together. We also saw one of Emmie’s old VPK friends, and they were so excited to see each other.
I made some air-fried chicken tenders for dinner, with noodles & green beans. Jeff was doing some work and missed dinner with us, but both girls ate really well, had seconds of noodles, and cleaned their plates. Emmie was showing me the paper she made in afterschool, that says, “mom I love you from Emerson.” And underneath that, she was trying to write “dad” I love you, but she has her lowercase “D” & “B” mixed up, so it says “bab” 🙂
Had some playtime in Addie’s room after dinner…
And then once Jeff finally finished up with his work, his girls were so excited to cuddle up with him for a while, before we got started on each of their bedtime routines.
I’ve lit my very favorite candle (this is my second one ever, courtesy of a sweet friend, Jane), and we’re ready to watch the first episode of the newest season of “Home Town.” The scent is “sweet olive blossom,” which is a type of tree/shrub, that gets tiny little blossoms on it, and smells amazing. I actually have one right on our back patio, and I love it.
It’s my favorite show, and I love Ben & Erin Napier so much. I read all of her 8 years of daily blog posts, and have read their book twice (once in hardcover that I purchased, and once on audio from the library). This episode tonight is all about their own new house they bought and renovated out in the country, and I’m so excited to see it!
