Sunset Grill

We met up at the library again this morning to transfer the girls to Nana for the day. After a good sister pic, Emmie walked away and Addie said, “Now just one of ME!”

They went to the library, and the park, and played dress-up and made a fort in the guest bedroom. Nana snapped a few pics for us today, and they had a great day!

By the time we got up to Havana after work today, Nana was grilling hot dogs and hamburgers on the back porch, the sun was setting, and the girls were having a good time playing.

We had more playtime outside after we ate dinner, until the mosquitoes started bothering us too much and we had to head inside. We had brought the girls jammies with us, so while I helped them get changed, Nana made oven-baked s’mores, which turned out absolutely delicious.

Both girls fell asleep on the ride home (as did I), and then both girls were asleep again almost immediately once we got home and got them in their beds. Luckily, we don’t have any big plans for tomorrow, so we can try to sleep in a little bit, and then do some normal chores and errands, and maybe even take an afternoon nap or at least a little rest.
