Hooray for another fun, fabulous Friday! Lovin’ Emerson’s new blue skort, super cute!
So with yesterday’s coffee purchase from The Frother’s Daughter, I officially completed my Summer Sips challenge punch card. The final prize was a t-shirt, but they didn’t have them in the trailer. So this morning, I needed to go by their actual store to pick up my t-shirt, and obviously I was just gonna buy another coffee while I was there too 😉
And I made this little collage of my four prizes. I love the graphics with the coffee, flowers, and music notes this summer, because it’s just really on brand with my own personal tastes. Add some little books, and that’ll be me in a nutshell! 😄
Group shot of Emmie’s class today, that her teacher posted on her Instagram, which I then screenshot to save.
Since we did our usual Friday pizza last night (when I didn’t feel like cooking), I had to actually cook last nights’ planned meal tonight. So I made Korma curry chicken & rice, using a jarred curry sauce, and it was super yummy. Emerson, Jeff and I all loved it, but Addison refused to eat more than the one bite I forced her to just try. She didn’t say she didn’t like it, she just only wanted to eat the naan bread and nothing else…
Emmie wanted to go to bed a little early tonight, so her and I went back to her room almost immediately after finishing dinner. I read about 10 pages from or book (that we started earlier this summer and kind of forgot about), watched a few videos together, and then she was ready to go to sleep. So while she fell asleep, I stayed cuddled up in the corner of her bed, reading on my Kindle.
I’m currently working on our meal plan for next week, and our grocery pickup order for tomorrow, trying to figure out what to cook, and what to get for the girls’ breakfast, and what to get to pack in Addie’s lunch… Anyone have any good ideas?!
