Spicy Lamb

The weather turned chilly on us again this morning, so both girls had to grab a sweater, and we even put some pants on the baby sister.

Mama texted me and Meg last night asking us both out to lunch again today, and of course we took her up on the invite! We moved just down the strip in the same little plaza as Monday, to Cava today. Our fave! I ordered the spicy lamb & avocado bowl, which has super greens as the base instead of rice, to help with my low-carb options.

We had a quick run through the Chick-fil-A drive thru after work on our way to the church. We all scarfed down our food, and then headed in for worship team rehearsal. Aunt Meggie took a few minutes to put a super cute braid into Emmie’s hair before we got started, and it looked great!

During the service tonight, the team from the Moldova mission trip (including Jeff), gave their reports and testimonies from the trip and shared stories and photos.

After church, Emerson’s friend Makenzee picked her up and decided to carry her all the way to the car like this 😆

We stayed at church a bit too late, so both girls were having minor meltdowns at home while trying to get ourselves ready for bed. We made it eventually and they’re both sound asleep now, praise the Lord. I found my nail polish remover earlier tonight, still packed in my travel cosmetic case from Disney, even though I don’t actually remember packing it! But at least I can finally re-do my nails!
