Sweet little girl, just brushing away on her teeth this morning before school!
She was wearing new pants this morning with kitty cats on them, and she loved them! In the car on the way to school, I heard her talking to them, saying, “Hi kitty cats!” She’s so funny and just so cute!
One more mug of Immune+ Emergen-C, well, I might have more over the weekend, but my goal was to NOT get sick before the Singing Christmas Tree, and I’ve just about made it! Praise be!
For lunch I had some leftover pizza (& my fave white cheddar popcorn), and watched the latest (Thanksgiving) episode of “This Is Us” on Hulu. (I set my phone on that stack of books/calculator, I’m not actually reading those right now 😉 ) And then painted my nails a bright, Christmas-y red for the performances this weekend. And I love the bright red! My nails keep catching my attention out of the corner of my eye…
I got off work at 4pm today, so I could have enough time to pick up Emmie, get her back home (and do the advent calendar), change clothes, put on my makeup, hop in the car with hubby, grab dinner from the Chick-fil-A drive thru, and get out to the church by 6:10 for mic check, and then our performance was at 7pm. And phew, was it chaotic!
While we were at church, back at home, Grandmommie and Emerson had scrambled eggs and bread & butter at home, and had a great evening together!
She also had a little bit of milk and cereal (out of a tiny tupperware) and then drank the milk out of it as well.
Grandmommie put her down in her crib around 7:35, she held her hand for another 10-ish minutes, and then by 7:50, she was sound asleep! Grandmommie did an excellent job taking care of her tonight, and especially with bedtime. I am so grateful to have such an excellent family that takes care of my family & my girl!
Our first performance on the weekend went absolutely great, and it was almost 100% perfect. My friend Angie was there, and she helped me out by taking some photos for the blog. She used to blog herself, so she’s got my back 😉 This first photo is of my solo during our opening ensemble, and then our giant, beautiful tree with about about 95 singers on the tree, plus 5 more that sit on the side! We met our goal of 100 singers this year! And we sound amazing, if I do say so myself.
We still have two more performances, Saturday & Sunday both at 4pm, and the tickets are free. (Even if you don’t have tickets, you can still come!) It was a beautiful night of worship and music, and we’d love to have you there!
And now it’s time for our usual routine of Netflix and tea. Night friends!
