Showcase

For church today, Emerson wore one of her beautiful new dresses we found at Belk yesterday, and Addison wore a dress she’s had for most of her life. It’s an 18-month size that still fits her!

During GC Kids today, they did a Fun Arts showcase, showing off all the kids that performed at Winter Blitz back in February. The girls got to do their solos again, and the puppets did their song, plus we had two short sermons and a dancer. I was actually on worship team in big church today, but I was able to make it over to the kids’ service in time to see her sing, and show off her artwork!

 

 

 

After church, Jeff took the girls to lunch with Grammy and Papa way up on Bannerman, because Emmie accidentally forgot her retainers in Grammy’s Jeep yesterday. Meanwhile, Meg and I had a quick lunch from the Publix deli (she got a sub, I got a salad), and then we went back to church for our monthly choir rehearsal.

After lunch, Jeff also took the girls to Culver’s for ice cream, and I ended up beating them home after choir was over!

We had some quiet time this afternoon, watching movies and reading books, and I fell asleep on the couch. Jeff napped as well, and even Emerson realized on her own, around 4:15, that she was tired and needed to nap.

We had dinner at church and Connect Groups tonight, and I just didn’t take any more photos today…  We laid out outfits for both girls for the week, and now I need to do a couple little chores to get things ready for the next week.
