Secret Bread

My cutie little girls, both wearing some of Mommy’s favorite color teal today.

Today was our bi-monthly unit lunch with my coworkers, and July was my  month to choose. My chicken parmesan sandwich on their “secret bread” at Riccardo’s was so delicious, and we had a great time! (Afterwards, I met one of my mom’s and grandmother’s friends Karen who reads my blog, so hi, Karen! Thanks for introducing yourself, glad you said hello!)

Cute girls having a good day at school!

After picking up Emerson from her class, we found Addison on the buggy on the playground, riding around with her little bestie buddy she always plays with.

And of course Addie feel asleep on the ride home.

I made the fast dinner possible (hot dogs & fresh watermelon) and the girls and I ate together while Jeff finished up some computer work. Then once he was done & came out to join us at the dinner table, I actually headed out for a super quick trip to Walmart.

I got some of the paper goods and decorations needed for Emerson’s upcoming birthday party this Saturday, as well as a few things for her presents. Oh, and a another new lunchbox for myself, since the one I got a couple of months ago is already ripping at the seams.

Since I had gotten out early, and went through the store very quickly, I was back home in time to do bedtime with the girls, after Jeff did their bath time while I was gone.

Emmie did really well at bedtime tonight, but Addie didn’t really wanna go to sleep, so Jeff is still holding her and rocking her longer, until she’s finally ready to lay down. When I wrote last night’s post about starting the finale of Stranger Things, I didn’t realize that episode was almost 2.5 hours long… so last night we only made it halfway through, and maybe we can actually finish it tonight.
