Sassy, Sleepy Sisters

My two adorable baby girls!! And look at all the sass on big sister!

This little girl wouldn’t give me any smiles this morning! She had fallen asleep in the car, and was still looking very sleepy.

Last night’s Greek chicken burger was super delicious for lunch again today, with my typical go-to Italian side salad that I’m so obsessed with lately.

When I got home, Jeff took Emmie outside to play, Addie slept in her car seat, and I cooked some rice, then served up dinner! I had prepped this last night and put the bag  in the fridge, then Jeff dumped it in the crock pot at lunch time. So it smelled great and was ready to eat when we got home. And it was good! Not great, but good, and  I would probably make it again, but I’d add a little somethin-somethin  to jazz it up a bit somehow.

The girls splashed around in the tub for a little bit, and then we got them both dried off and warm and in their jammies.

Emmie ate a few of her Halloween candies, and I fed Addison a bottle, and then she fell asleep immediately after she finished it.

I passed Addie off to Daddy so I could get Emmie to bed, and then grabbed Addie back from him so he could go love Emmie. She flopped over on my shoulder, dropped the paci out of her mouth, and just kept snoozing away oh so sweetly.

I held onto her for another 10-15 minutes just for cuddles, and then took her back to lay her down in her room. She took one big long stretch, then settled down and kept on sleeping some more.

Jeff didn’t sleep well last night, so he was falling asleep in the chair around 7:45, so after getting the girls to sleep, he went on to bed super early himself. I usually wash dishes first and then blog, but I decided to do things backwards tonight, so once I finish this post, I’ll go wash the bottles and dishes while listening to my audio book.
