Red-Checkered Tablecloth

Sweet little girls on a fun Friday! We needed to fill the car up at the gas station this morning, so we also grabbed breakfast sandwiches (BEC croissants for them, chorizo & pepper jack wrap for me) since were at the fancy gas station by the mall. Addie hadn’t finished hers yet, so she was still carrying hers into school with her.

And fast forward approximately 10 hours, and we were all back together again, sitting on a cute patio for dinner at Tour of Italy. Jeff wanted to treat his three girls to a nice dinner, and we loved our little Italian family dinner night. The weather was perfect, the patio was so cute, with tons of plants and a tiny water feature and red-checkered table cloths. And I just loved all of it! The vibes were perfect, and I was so happy 🙂 The girls were perfect and so sweet, and it was just a really great family dinner date!

Jeff and I ordered the Tour of Italy to share, with lasagna, chicken parmesan, and fettucini alfredo. Since we told our waiter we were sharing, they split it all for us and brought it out separately. And it was a good thing we shared, because this was a lot of food! Pictured here is just my half, and Jeff had all of this for himself too. I loved the lasagna and the chicken parm, but wasn’t actually a fan of the alfredo sauce, so I didn’t eat any of that. Emerson tried all of my stuff too, and agreed with my preferences. Addie loved the alfredo though, and had plenty of that.

Then we also splurged and ordered two desserts to share – the homemade tiramisu and the chocolate mousse cake. The tiramisu was amazing and so worth it.

And as usual, I made a cute little video of our dinner time. I love making these lately 🙂

Loved our sweet family time, and these sweet little girls!

We drove up to Havana after dinner, to pick up Jeff’s dad’s truck for Jeff to drive for the week, while his parents are out of town. By the time we made it home, it was time to get the girls ready for bedtime, so we got started on that right away. Feeling thankful for good food and my sweet family and a nice Friday evening.
