Pulled Pork Hot Dogs

Sweet little Addie Pie was cute in her kitty cat pants and kitty cat shoes, ready for a day at school!

We stopped by the triplets’ classroom to say hi, and they were all so excited to see us. They told me my red dress matched Buddy the Elf in his red outfit, and they loved the flowers on my dress.

Emerson had a little bit of a rough drop-off with Daddy, but he got her calmed down and ready to head in eventually, she just didn’t want to stop for photos…

Found two gallons of can tabs waiting on my desk when I got in this morning. My bureau chief’s husband and friends all collect these when they get together for parties and football games and such. They even have a picture of Emmie they have posted above their collection jug. It’s so sweet 🙂

I had to appear for a court hearing via Zoom today, because of a letter I wrote to a Judge about a discrepancy in one of my cases. So I made this little set-up to raise my laptop, and sat there on the hearing for 1.5 hours, only to have them re-set it for tomorrow instead… So I’ll have to do the whole thing over again tomorrow.

Made a super easy Aldi meal for dinner tonight, got everything warmed up and put together in about 15 minutes. We were supposed to have hot dogs tonight actually, but we accidentally forgot to put them in the fridge, so they sat in the bottom of the bag with the crackers for 2 days, until it was finally unloaded last night… So we had BBQ pulled pork, on hot dog buns, and it was actually really good 🙂 And their white cheddar mac & cheese was extremely yummy.

After dinnertime, we did bath time, and then we had a little bit of downtime, before bedtime.

Emmie was really sweet during her bedtime routine, and was just so lovey and smiley.

Jeff and Addie had both fallen asleep while I was with Emmie, and so it was really easy for me to grab Addie and take her to lay in her crib.

I worked on my puzzle a little bit more, while listening to my audio book, which is a cheesy little romance story. I thought it was going to be more Christmassy, but I’m at 62%, and so far the whole thing as taken place during the first week of Christmas, on an Amazon River adventure boat, soooo, not-so-much in the holiday spirit so far… but still cutesy.

Now time for a little bit of rest!
