Pretzel Bark

My sweet, precious girlies! We had another good morning with just us girls, made it out of the house with all of our stuff, pretty much on time, right when I wanted to leave 🙂

We all did our normal work and school business today, and then I picked them up and we had McDonald’s for dinner before church. I tried the new McCrispy strips, and did not like them. I ordered four, but only ate two, and didn’t even enjoy those, and then threw the other two away… I loved how prissy Addison looked, eating her nuggets with her tiny legs crossed. And then they both took turns getting up and dancing around to the music.

After our prayer and praise night at church for me, and the little girls’ classes for the little ones, we headed back home for bedtime. Emmie and I were sharing this snack together, that we got at TJ Maxx yesterday. We gave gift cards to their teachers, and a bag of nice chocolates, and we got this bag for ourselves. And this is honestly some of the best chocolate I’ve ever hard! I’m gonna need to head back to find some more of this stuff…

We had a quick phone call with Grammy and Papa tonight, and then a video call with Daddy once we were settled in bed. Both girls were a little sugar-hyped up, after having Kona Ice at church. So it was a little later than usual by the time I finally got them calmed down and asleep, but I successfully did it all by myself, for the third night in a row!

I need to go do a few of my nightly prep things to get us ready for things to (hopefully) run smoothly tomorrow morning. Then once those things are taken care of, I’ll read a little bit, or maybe start watching the season finale of Survivor, if it’s up on streaming yet… Jeff comes home tomorrow, so we’ve almost made it through our 3.5 days with just us girls. We’ll be glad to have him back home!

Turns out Survivor isn’t streaming yet (it just aired tonight) so I’ve got an ambiance video on the TV and I’m reading until I fall asleep!
