Pork & Plantains

We lost the sunglasses this morning, but didn’t lose the sassy poses 😉

We don’t often get to see the triplets at GR drop-off’s anymore, now that they’re in kindergarten, so the mornings that we do see them are very exciting!

A new food truck came to our office building today, and although most days y’all know I pack my lunch to save money, my friend Becky and I decided to try it out together. I got a Cuban sandwich with a side of sweet plantains. Although they were super slow (there were only two people working the whole operation), the sandwich was delicious! The plantains were slightly under-cooked, but again, I’ll give them some slack since basically one woman was running the whole food side of things, and one man was running the register. I’d definitely give them another try, and maybe just get beans & rice next time instead.

Emerson had one last field trip today (at least, I think it’s the last one?), to go bowling! All the parents pre-paid for a couple of field trips at the beginning of the year, and they actually ended up adding this one recently, because they had some extra funds still left over. So they went bowling, and then to the playground at Tom Brown, and had ice cream from Momma P’s Ice Cream truck!

I picked up both girlies after work, and Jeff went straight to Raising Cane’s to get us dinner. He ordered our meals, and had everything set out and waiting for us when we pulled up, and then we all ate together before church.

No more pics from the rest of the night, but the girls are both asleep now, and I have about 30 pages left in my current book, so I’ll probably finish that before bedtime.
