Polka Dot Girls

Both of my little sweetie pies were in a good mood and very happy this morning. And something about Emerson’s outfit today just made her seem so very grown up!

I had the most perfect avocado today. When I first split it open this morning, I literally said, “Whoa, it’s perfect!” And it was delicious all mashed up on my everything bagel for breakfast as well, obviously.

And Addie was just the happiest little nugget all day at school today!

Little sister fell asleep on our short little car ride after work…

On our way to eat dinner at Pepper’s…

I tried something new tonight, and ordered this carnitas torta, which is basically just a Mexican sandwich. I was really good, and I did like it, but I wouldn’t order it again. It was super filling though, and I was stuffed.

This wasn’t the outfit I sent Addison to school wearing this morning, but she had a some sort of mess or accident during the day and they changed her into her spare outfit. So by the end of the day, we were matching each other in our navy & polka dots!

Jeff took the girls home after dinner, and did bath with them and got them in their jammies…

While I went out to the church for praise team rehearsal…

Both girls were still awake when I got home, and so I went to make a bottle of milk for Addison. But discovered our milk was already soured, so I had to make a super fast emergency run to Walgreens for a new jug of fresh milk. Once Addie had her milk, Jeff got her calmed down, and I got started on Emerson’s bedtime routine. Then it was easy to get both girls to sleep, since it was so late and they were both exhausted. I’m exhausted too, so I think I’m just gonna read a little bit, and then try to get to sleep at a good time tonight.
