Still only in one car, and still the passenger princess on the morning drop-off route. The sky wasn’t quite as pretty this morning, but the pink-ish clouds were pretty cool.
Then by the time we made it to Addie’s school, the sky was brightening up and looking even better. When we got out of the car, I told the girls exactly where to stand for a perfect sunrise background, and it came out beautifully!

When we got home tonight, there was a package waiting on the carport steps, and I couldn’t remember what I had ordered lately… Turns out, it was a record that I pre-ordered months ago and forgot about! These two were on one of my all-time favorite shows, One Tree Hill, and they recently re-released this album of songs from the show, for the 20-year anniversary of the show.

I also had a few packages of books delivered this week, all containing the same book, six times! A friend at church decided to start a little book club for the spring/summer, and after the first book was chosen, I offered to place a group order from ThriftBooks online, since I would get free shipping, and they were only $6 each. (And I earn points towards free books for myself, so it was a win-win-win!) I packed them all up in one of my new birthday book-ish tote bags, so I could pass them out to some of the ladies at church tonight.

We had already gotten Emerson a sub for dinner, and dropped her off at church early. So then Jeff, Addie and I ran to Taco Bell for a super fast dinner before church too. I got this adorable little tiny taco salad, and it was really good, but obviously I wished it was double this size!

Then tonight was Awards Night for GC Girls (and boys), where they give out all the badges, awards and certificates they’ve been earning in their Wednesday-night classes. Addison was a bit of a grump and wouldn’t participate in the things her class did, but Emerson did great and had her own little speaking part. And the triplets’ class did a little cheer with cute pink pompoms.

It was a bit of a wild night once we got home, trying to get everyone settled down and ready for bed. The girls did eventually fall asleep, and I went off to take a shower and get ready for bed. I’ve been watching an episode of “Silo” while writing this, and then it’ll be time for me to settle down and get ready for bed myself.
