Pigtails & Jelly Shoes

Cute baby in her teeny little shorty-shorts was so cute! And she was so excited about her new jelly shoes!

Afternoon snack/reading break with cherries and iced coffee. Yum.

Tater had a good day at school, and got to do a special painting project!

Sweet little girlfriends!💕

Jeff and the boys spent most of the day working on some projects at Nana’s house, so after I picked up Emerson from school, we went over to join them as well for a little play time and pool time and dinner time. Nana asked Emmie what she wanted for dinner, and she hollered, “chicken strips!” So we ordered curbside carryout from Zaxby’s, and ate dinner on the back porch!

Getting loves from Daddy 🥰

She was making the silliest faces!

Miss Jessica did her little piggy tails at school today, and I just loved them so much! I can’t get over how cute they were!

She dug through a couple baskets of toys, and she found these goggles and thought they were so great, and I couldn’t stop laughing at her!

We got her ready for bedtime and read some books, and of course she had to have another snack, so she had half of a strawberry Pop-Tart.

And she had the craziest hair, after playing in the water and then taking her pigtails down after they were halfway dry, and it just amused me quite a bit.

Emmie was super sweet and lovey at bedtime, and didn’t even want any lullabies tonight, but just wanted quiet cuddle times with mommy in the dark. And it was very calming for both of us.

After getting her down, our Sunday school class had a Zoom prayer time together, just sharing prayer requests with each other and catching up a little bit. It was nice to hear their voices and see their faces, but man I miss seeing them in real life!

We’ve got just a little over an hour left in the final Star Wars movie (it’s only 2hrs 22mins, not 3 hours like I thought), so we’re gonna go finish that up now before bedtime.
