Perky Pink Ears

Yesterday Addie was a grump, but today she was so happy, in such a good mood!

And Emmie was ready for another great day at Mega Sports Camp at church!

For lunch today, Aunt Q, Megan, Mama and I all met up at Hopkins for a girls’ lunch. This one was actually our last one before Meggie will have her baby boy next week. It’s crazy how quickly her 9 months has gone! Lunch was great as always, delicious food and great company.

After getting both of the girls home after work, Jeff took them and Pennie for a walk down the street, while I was cooking. We have a pretty good-sized backyard, and she can definitely run and play back there, but she also seems to like these little walks down the street as well.

And by the time they got back, I had our pasta & garlic bread ready to eat for supper. You can also see the cute little flowers they brought me back from their walk in that tiny little measuring cup back there.

After dinner, I got the leftovers put away, then got the girls in the bath tub. While I got them cleaned up, I gave Jeff two small projects to work on, some of those long-neglected spots that just gather junk through the years. He got those things tidied up and taken care of, and now I’ve already got my sights set on the next little trouble spot I wanna clear up in the next couple of days.

Then it was time to snuggle up with Pennie Girl, and my two little girls, on the couch, and watch Bluey together before bedtime.

For the past couple of days, I’ve been trying to get a good picture of her perky ears like this, because I think they’re so cute! I finally got a good shot tonight, and you can really see just how perky & pink they are. So adorable!

Addie wanted to show off her Chex Mix snack she was eating. I told her the brown pieces were my favorites, so every time she found one, she fed it to me, like the sweetest little sharing baby.

Emmie was super sleepy after another big day running and playing and doing the water slide at camp. So she was asleep in no time flat once I got her in the bed. Addie wanted extra Daddy-snuggle time as usual, but she’s obviously sound asleep by now.

I started a new audio book on my way to pick up Emerson after work today, so I’m going to go pop in my earbuds, and listen a little more while I wash some dishes. Then I’ll settle down and watch some tv to relax before it’s time to sleep.
