Peppers & Ponytails

My precious little cutie pie was excited to wear a new shirt with little bunnies on it. And I just love her in these cute little tshirts! There’s something about a tshirt (rather than a onesie), that makes her seem like more a big girl, which I love and hate at the same time!

Look at this sweet girl and her little friend, both riding this tiny bike together! Oh and also, Emerson pooped in the potty at school today, for the first time ever!! She was very shy about it when I asked her, but I’m so proud of her!!

And look at these cute pony tails! She hardly ever lets me do it, but she specifically asked Ms. Jessica for two pony tails today, and they certainly are adorable!

I had a decent, slightly slower day at work today, and got a good amount of work done, which made me feel productive. I picked up my girl after work & school, and we headed over to Jeff’s parents’ house for a quick dinner. I didn’t want to cook anything tonight, so that I didn’t have to clean up later, so I could spend more time packing, so that worked out well to have someone else take care of dinner for us! We also left Pretzel at their house, since we’re going out of town tomorrow.

Nita had picked up a couple of grab-&-go meals from Costco, so she baked those for us after work, and they were both really good! I tried a little of both the peppers & the meatloaf, and both were tasty, but the stuffed peppers were my favorite.

We stayed a little later than we had planned, so it was already bedtime when we got home. Emmie was a pretty good girl, and didn’t put up too much a fight.

We actually missed out on the #5x5readingchallenge today, but I’m sure we’ll have plenty of time for lots and lots of books on our road trip over the next couple of days. Speaking of which, we just threw one last load of laundry into the washer, and we’ve got a lot of packing we need to get done tonight, because we’re hitting the road to Missouri (via a one-night stay in Alabama) tomorrow!
