Pajama Party

Y’all, Jeff and the girls actually let me sleep in this morning, so I didn’t get out of bed until 9:38am, and that was truly glorious. I so needed that. They even went out and got breakfast for us. So we ate, and lazed about, and then eventually got some chores done. Jeff stayed home to do yard work, and then girls and I ran out for coffee & library time. With a stop at a Little Free Library on the way too.

We ran back home for some turkey sandwiches for lunch, and a little bit of movie time, and then we left Addie and Daddy at home, and I took Emmie to a birthday party across town. It was a pajama glow dance party for one of her East Hill friends, and she had a great time!

And we visited a new LFL afterwards, since we were in a different part of town than usual. And we found a really cute copy of “The Secret Garden” from the 80’s which I was excited about.

We went over to Nana’s house after the party, and Jeff and Addie came to meet us there. We had burgers for dinner, and the girls had a bath, and then popsicles for dessert.

Today was such a chill, easy day, and I was very grateful for that. Gonna do some of my little nail stickers now while I watch the rest of the episode of my current show, and then head off to bed…
