Pajama Friday

Today was pajama day for Addie, so it was very convenient that Nana just got her these from the Disney outlet last weekend, so they were brand new and ready to go on this chilly morning! And Emmie was proud of herself for matching her new purple Crocs (from Nana from the outlets) and her purple shirt and purple watch.

We dropped Addie off first this morning, because we were just a bit too early for Emmie’s school at that point, and they had a big giant drop-off hug. Good grief they’re just so cute and sweet and I love how they love each other.

You guys. We didn’t have any more tortillas left for all of the meat & beans I still had. So I just added the meat & beans (and the 3 tiny spoonfuls of rice) in a bowl, and then brought all the toppings for after heating it up. And I may have gone a bit overboard with all the things I brought. I just like toppings and condiments and sauces though! Oh and someone brought some random cans of Coke to share, so I grabbed one of those to go with my lunch too.

But look how good this looks!

Got a couple of cute pics of Addie Pie from her school teacher today.

Jeff got off work early today, so that he could take Emerson to gymnastics. Obviously they had to run into the gas station for a little pre-gym snacky. She looked adorable wearing her little crown she made in school today, and I guess just wanted to show off this cute baseball plushie.

We had pizza for me and Jeff and mac & cheese for the girls, out on the back patio as usual these days. Jeff had been working on the car already as soon as we got home, but got cleaned up to take a break and eat with us, and then he went right back out to the carport.

The girls played together for a while after dinner, while I watched “This Week at Aldi” videos and made a meal plan and a grocery list based on wanting to do my grocery shopping at Aldi tomorrow. Then of course it was loves and snuggles all together on the couch while we watched Bluey before bedtime.

We’ve been trying to break Addie of her paci habit for a while but it wasn’t going good. So we kinda just decided to go cold turkey a couple days ago, but that means bedtime is a little rough, and tonight was definitely hard. Jeff had to come inside and shower because she’s a Daddy’s girl and only wanted him and was mad I wouldn’t give her a paci. But I got Emmie to bed, and Jeff got Addie calmed down, even without a paci. Keep us in your thoughts & prayers as we continue to just tell her we “can’t find them” until we finally get over it…

Currently, me and 132,000+ other Swifties are all watching The Eras Tour in Miami on a grainy TikTok live-stream with, and I’m just really feeling left out and wishing I would have won the ticket lottery somehow to see it live in-person.
