Memorial Day 2025
This morning was a mix of productivity and also some laziness… I was up early with the girls at 7am, we had cereal together, and then I took a little snooze on the couch while we watched the end of the live-action Aladdin we started last night. Then I made some bacon & cheese egg bites for Addie to have for breakfast this week. (For the past almost 8 years at Growing Room, they’ve provided breakfast every day, but not anymore, so we have to get used to feeding Addie breakfast now, so we’re trying these out this week to see how it works out.) They’re mainly for Addie, but she obviously won’t eat 12 in a week, so I made some with green onions for myself too.

My beautiful girls were up an at ’em with us early this morning, as both Jeff and I were both serving together on the GC Kids team, so the girls went to church with us early. I love their pretty dresses together, and their cute little white sandals for summer-time.

First Beach Day of 2025!
OK first, we picked up a very early Walmart grocery pickup order, like right after 7am. Then we saw a yard sale in our neighborhood, and just had to pop by to see what we could see. We got a few cute books, and a few cute baskets. Addison in particular was obsessed with her tiny basket, and I was obsessed with watching her carry it around in her princess dress, like a real-life little princess.

As always, it feels like this past school year has just flown by in the blink of an eye. First day of second grade feels both like forever ago, and also just yesterday. We did great getting up and ready and out of the house, on our first morning of the week without Daddy. We had all the stuff we needed, and were only a few minutes later leaving than planned… I just forgot my coffee on the kitchen counter! So I made an emergency stop at Dunkin after dropping off the girls 😉

Little cuties on a manic Monday morning! We all four went in one car, dropped off both girls, and then I dropped off Jeff and all his luggage at Avis Car rental, because he was on his way to a conference for work!
