Matching little cheetah girls for church today. I went early for worship team rehearsal, and Jeff and the girls came later in time for the service to start.

Well, after my shopping spree at the used book sale yesterday, my tiny bookworm buddy was jealous and wanted a trip as well to look at the kids’ books. So we went this morning, and this girl was serious about searching for books! She kept pulling out good ones over & over, and I was impressed with all she found!

Gonna try to keep this short & sweet, because it’s almost 11pm and I’m starting to fall asleep while sitting on the computer… The girls and I had a great morning today, and we made it to the end of our week while Jeff was out of town!

Unfortunately, we had a really rough morning at home getting ready for school and work… Two of us were crying, and only one of those two was a child, if that tells you anything! But once we got in the car, we all made up and were fine just a few minutes down the road! And then once we made it to school, we were all happy and smiling 🙂

The girls specifically requested to take their sister pics on our front porch steps this morning, so that’s what we did! And we had another great solo-mom-morning once again, and I got both girls to school on time, and I made it to work easily myself.

Morning #2 of solo mom duty was even better than the first. I did almost everything I could last night to prep, and then allowed no dilly-dallying while we got ready. I got both girls to their respective girls a few minutes earlier than the “allowed” drop-off time, and then got myself to my 8am dentist appointment a few minutes early too. So, we did great!

So, before my alarms even went off this morning, Jeff was up and showered and out of the house, and checking in at the airport. He’s in Seattle this week for a work conference (that his office totally paid for!), so I’m on solo mom duty until Friday. But we did great on our first morning with just us girls!

I literally only took 3 pictures this entire day, and they were all right here at this table before church, just trying to get a decent one. So here’s these two cuties ready for church!
