Jeff left the house dark & early this morning to meet up with some church guys for a coffee shop Bible study, so Mommy was in charge of allllll the things today. We made it on time, and everyone was smiling, with lunches & waters and everything we needed. So that was a win!

In honor of Grandparent’s Day, GC Kids hosted a cute little retro diner themed breakfast for the kids with the Grandparents. So obviously we invited Grammy and Papa to come this morning, for allll their grandkids, for a retro diner-themed breakfast at GC!

Saturday mornings are for trying to sleep late (we made it to 8:30 today!), quick cereal for breakfast, and then lots of chores all around the house. We had turkey sandwiches and leftovers for lunch, and then finally got dressed and ready to go by 12:30 pm. Our first stop was at 7Brew, where I got a salted caramel & pumpkin macchiatto, and I got Emerson a “funnel cake” decaf latte.

I’ve been loving the sister pics Jeff has been getting of the girls every morning, out on the grass in front of the big church at NFC. I also love Emerson’s casual pose today, all leaned up on the lamp post in her Converse, looking like a little pre-teen model or something!

Jeff took both girlies to the gas station this morning before school, and I guess they got some breakfast snacks.

We were all very sleepy and had a hard time waking up this morning, after our very busy weekend out of town. But we managed to get moving and out of the house (albeit a few minutes later than we typically like) and back into the routine. When Jeff and the girls got to Addie’s school, she just had to get her little friends buckled up into her own car seat.

{Over Labor Day Weekend, we took a mini family vacay to St. Simon’s Island. This is the post for Day 3, Monday, 9/1/25.}
We were up and moving slightly earlier today than yesterday, and we headed out to Sandy Bottom Bagels for some breakfast. I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese on a garlic bagel, and even though the fillings were a little thin, the bagel was still delicious.
