When it was time for us to load up in the cars this morning, the girls went out in the driveway first, and were freaking out hollering at us to come see the rainbow. I was a busy bee this morning – brewed a pot of coffee, packed Addie’s lunch, filled her water bottle, packed her snacks, picked out her outfit, took a shower, and put dinner in the crockpot. And I set out the sides so those would be ready too.

Today was my day again for solo-morning-mom-duty, as Jeff went to his bi-weekly men’s Bible study at 6:30am. We had a few hiccups, but we made it out the door, and a little early to both schools, and all was well!

Y’all, Jeff and the girls actually let me sleep in this morning, so I didn’t get out of bed until 9:38am, and that was truly glorious. I so needed that. They even went out and got breakfast for us. So we ate, and lazed about, and then eventually got some chores done. Jeff stayed home to do yard work, and then girls and I ran out for coffee & library time. With a stop at a Little Free Library on the way too.

Hooray for Friday, and Emerson was sporting a new cool Grizzlies shirt that all the third-graders got recently. And Addison was looking a little bit too old for some reason this morning, with that little smirk.
