Today for Grandparent-week lunch with Emerson at Gilchrist, Nana brought Firehouse, and they went for her third visit to the book fair!
Made some “Simply Smart lightly breaded chicken chunks” in the air fryer tonight for dinner. The girls just ate theirs dipped in Ranch and ketchup, but I made mine into a buffalo chicken salad with ranch dressing.
The girls spent a long time in the bath tonight just playing and splashing and going a little crazy. I had washed some dishes while the chicken was cooking, and I started watching the first episode of Survivor 50 on my phone (with one earbud in) while I was doing all that. And I kept watching it while I was eating, since the girls were watching their own movie. And then I watched some more while they were in the bath. And I’ve still been watching it while writing this post. This first episode was 3 hours last night, so it’s a loooong one, but I’m loving it! As someone who’s watched every episode of the first 49 seasons (some of them more than once), I was so stoked for this new season of all returning players! And the first 30 minutes was so full of nostalgia and excitement, and it made me tear up about four or five different times. This is gonna be such a good season!!
