Today was a bit of a late morning, but both girls still made it to their schools on time, and both had breakfast. Addie was showing off the last few bites of hers in the morning sister pics.
And the girls have been glad to be able to wear shorts and dresses and a few less layers these past few days!

Dinner tonight was supposed to be egg-roll-in-a-bowl, but Walmart didn’t give me the ground sausage I ordered in our groceries the other day. Luckily, I had stuff on hand to make this meatball marinara cheese bake again. The girls love this, and it’s incredibly quick and easy. I did decide tonight though that that Walmart Great Value brand meatballs are actually better than whatever brand this was, from the BOGO Publix sale I got a few weeks back.

I love pasta with red sauce, and I love meatball subs with lots of melty cheese. This is a version of that, but without all the pasta and bread and carbs, so it still satisfies my usual tastes.

Emerson has come down with a little bit of a cold or something the last day or so, and was feeling very congested and tired. I got her into a very hot shower though, so she could open everything up in the hot shower water, and she felt better when she got out. Baby Sis could have used a bath herself, but we ran out of time. So I was helping her take her dress off to change clothes into her jammies, and as we pulled it up over her head, she looked so cute and funny, with her whole face surrounded like this.

I got the kitchen cleaned up a tiny bit (but not too much, honestly), and got the leftovers put away. That’s the other great thing about this meal, is that it’s always more than enough for multiple meals.

I very quickly finished up this little puzzle last night, and found I had one missing piece. I think it probably went missing the last time I put it together, but oh well.

Emerson was sound asleep after just one lullaby, but Addison was all flopsy and flippy and stayed awake through alllll six songs, until she finally gave in and fell asleep too.

I’m currently in season two of “Silo” on AppleTV, and it’s so stinking good. This is actually another one of those rare instances where the show is better than the book it’s based off of. I loved the book series when I read it 10 years ago, but wow this show is so good! I always watch it at night while I’m writing these posts, and I’ve found myself many times getting sucked into it, and forgetting to write for a while… If you have AppleTV, you should definitely check it out.
