We had a few extra minutes to get ready this morning, so Emerson specifically requested a half-up messy bun hair-do. I made sure to add some extra curly cream to the half-down part as well, and it looked so stinking cute!
Jeff took these next pictures of Addie with her goldfish in the car, and I don’t really know the story, but she’s so stinking cute and silly.
And these two sweetie pies are just the cutest girlies! Love both of them in their little dresses and sandals.
After some hoopla and car trouble with Jeff’s car during the day (he was thankfully able to buy a replacement part, and get it working again, so praise the Lord for that!), I took Emmie to gymnastics like usual. And we just added a second messy bun to get all her hair up for class, and that looked pretty cute and fun too!
She was also wearing a “new” leotard that I bought for her super cheap off of Facebook Marketplace, and looking adorable. But you can see how hard she had been working, based on the wildness of her hair by that point!
Meanwhile, Jeff had picked up Addie a little earlier than usual, so they had some spare time, so he treated them to some ice cream at DQ before heading home. (And now he owes Emmie some ice cream too, she just doesn’t know it yet!)
When they got home, he made taquitos, yellow rice and black beans, and everything was hot and ready for us when we got home after gymnastics.
We did all of our usual bedtime stuff, and Emerson took a turn reading a page or two from Harry Potter, and then I took over and read the majority of the next chapter, but my girl was way too exhausted and we didn’t quite finish chapter three…
Currently watching another Hurricane Katrina docu-series on Netflix (Jeff and I watched one on Disney+ at the beginning of the month), and it’s done very well and it’s very interesting, but just oh so very awful too…
