New Coffee Maker

Emerson was looking a bit too grown up today in her leggings and tank top, like a work-out Barbie mini. And Addison was very into her yellow hair clip she picked out today.

After school today, Nana picked up both girls, and took them out for a little dinner date at Culver’s, with ice cream too of course!

Jeff and I went to the church tonight for a Worship Team night, having a little snack and fellowship and devotional and mini worship time together. We shared and prayed and sang, and it was really nice!

Nana took the girls home for us while we were at the church, and her and Addie washed up all the dishes! And when we got home, there was an identical coffee pot sitting on my counter, exactly like the one we had that hasn’t been working for a couple of weeks. We walked in and I said, “Nana, did our coffee pot spawn a child!?” Well turns out, Jeff’s dad is cleaning out his office for his upcoming retirement, and was going to donate his office coffee pot, since they already have one just like this at home. But she stopped him and they donated it to us instead!

She already washed it, filled it up with water, and put it in it’s spot (over on the side by the sink), plus washed my old pot to save in case we break the carafe, and we can just toss out the old one into the trash. Can’t wait to have my usual “homemade” coffee tomorrow morning!

And a completely clean sink to boot! (Plus the crockpot on the other side of the counter was clean too.)

The girls were a bit hyped up from their night with Nana, and getting to stay up a little later than usual, but they were still sweet and went to sleep relatively easily.

I’m in the mood to color or paint or something tonight while I watch tv, something easy and mindless to wind down before bedtime…

First though, I gotta get this big girl outta my spot on the couch!
