Neon Nike

Emerson was rocking a new matching Nike set from TJ Maxx, that we’ve had for a year that finally fits her. This week’s theme at camp is “neon,” and we thought this coral color was a little bit neon…

And I lucked out and pulled out some sorta-matching Nike hand-me-down shorts for Addison too, that were only slightly too big and baggy for her. 😉

And who knows what in the world is going on with this painting situation here at school today!? But I’m sure she was having fun!

Tonight’s dinner was chicken Caesar salad wraps, with pesto pasta on the side, and those same field peas we figured out last week that we all loved. And I put the last bit of salad on my plate, but ended up too full to eat it.

After dinner, Jeff was doing some computer work, and I was cleaning up the kitchen, and these two cuties were all cozied up on the couch together, playing games on Emmie’s Kindle. I just love watching them together, and hearing them talk to each other, especially now that Addie is getting to be even more of a big girl these days.

OK I just wanted to share bookshelf pictures again, because they’re both looking so good! I did a tiny bit more straightening up of the old shelf, and added a few more books to the new shelf. Our OG white shelf in the corner is still stuffed to overflowing with books, but so much neater than it’s been in a long time.

And our new heart shelf on the other side of the room is just styled so perfectly to my own design taste, and I love it. After dinner, Jeff even said, “I really like this bookshelf babes. I wasn’t sure about it at first, or where we would put it, but it looks great here and you did a good job styling it.” I was so flattered! 🙂

We got the girls in bed at a really good time, very easily as well tonight too. But of course, it’s time to run off and wash up some dishes, and then probably settle down and read a little bit.
