As titled, today is my 34th birthday! After an early wake up call for Addie’s first bottle, Jeff let me fall back asleep on the couch, while he took care of the girls, got donuts for breakfast, and also picked up our weekly Walmart grocery order.
Then we did a bit of cleaning around the house, held Addison for a nap, and packed up the girls’ stuff in Emmie’s Baby Yoda suitcase…
So they could have a sleepover at Grammy’s house!
Grammy had presents waiting for me!
These girls barely batted an eyelash when we left them there!
These next five photos were sent to me by Grammy, after we had already left and there were playing and taking care of them.
Jeff and I went back home for a late, light lunch, and then some more cleaning and chores and laundry and dishes… And I hand-squeezed about 10 oranges, for just 1 jar of fresh, organic, home-grown, hand-squeezed orange juice. It would sell it for about $15/jar at a fancy farmer’s market, so I’ll sell it for $10 😉
We did a few more chores, and got showers, and I wrote this first half of this blog post. While writing this, Grammy sent me a few more photos…
Then I put on make-up and painted my fingernails (gold, to match my new gold hoop earrings), and then we went out to dinner for my birthday at Harry’s, with our friends Steven and Britteny! We had the most delicious food (Harry’s literally never disappoints), and even a free key lime pie slice for my birthday, which they let me switch to the fried oreo beignets instead, which are my fave.
We’re back at our house to play some games, since games are my favorite, and all of our girls are at their grandparents’ houses! We haven’t had a game night friends in a very long time, so we’re excited this worked out tonight! I just had to insert our dinner photos into this post once we got home, and now we’re off to play games and hang out and stay up late, like we’re young and kid-free and care-free, like I’m 24 instead of 34!
