The girls specifically requested to take their sister pics on our front porch steps this morning, so that’s what we did! And we had another great solo-mom-morning once again, and I got both girls to school on time, and I made it to work easily myself.
Mama, Aunt Q and I did girls lunch today at Cava, but sadly Meg couldn’t join us because she had a meeting. The funny thing was, when Mom’s coworker asked where we were going, and she answered Cava, the lady said, “Oh, Halie’s favorite!” And it really is my favorite!

After work today, Grammy offered to pick up both girls for me, and get them dinner. So they went to Huey Magoo’s and I met them there, and my buffalo chicken wrap was waiting on me when I arrived! That was super helpful in the whole logistics part of the evening, and I was very grateful for her picking them up and taking care of our dinner as well, all so we could get to church on time for kids choir for Emerson.

During kids choir, after dropping Emmie off at church, Addie and I actually went home for about 30 minutes to let Pennie out and feed her dinner, before heading back. Addie went to her preschool class, Emmie went to her GC girls class, and I helped Meg rehearse songs for Sunday, since she’s leading the worship team for service this week. Afterwards, we went to pick up the littlest of our kids, and these two blondies led the way back to the cars.

Grammy got the girls this super cute little Wicked-themed tin box of Wicked-themed munchkins, and had it sitting in Emmie’s seat when she picked her up. Such a cute little treat, and the girls loved it!

Last year, I almost bought the “Christmas at Hogwarts” book at Target one night, but it was $20 and I just didn’t wanna spend the money. Then randomly two days ago, it popped up for $10 on my Amazon, so I very quickly clicked “buy now,” and it was delivered today! So we’re considering it an early Christmas gift, so we can read it over the coming holiday season, and obviously we had to read it for the first time tonight!

My sweet babies were very easy to get to sleep again tonight, loving and cuddling up to each other like the cutest sisters ever.

And now for my favorite part of the night, where I get to just kick my feet up and watch something silly or scroll my phone for an hour or so before bed, and just totally turn my brain off!
