Today was a big day at church this morning! November is “missions month,” and today was the first ever Missions Market put on by GC Kids. The kids could sign up to participate, and choose what to make and sell. Emerson made her favorite little silicone bracelets, and set up Emerson’s Bracelet Emporium. There were actually 20+ kids selling baked goods, ornaments, bookmarks, key chains, art (drawings and paintings), and more. And these kids raised over $2200!!!

I was running the payment system, so I didn’t get any pics once the market was actually in full swing, because I was busy the whole time, with a crowd and a line at all times. But here’s a pic of the five tents we had set up, with all the tables and some of the goods. We sold before church, this pic was during service, and then we sold again after church as well.

And then I was also serving during GC kids church service as well, just a busy little bee today.

Our whole giant Connect Group went out to lunch today at 4Rivers (instead of our usual Sunday night group meeting), and this picture of my tray is the only photo I took there.

Added two small additions on this wall today, when I remembered I had two more framed photos hiding in a drawer in a cabinet. The small butterfly photo in the top right, and the gold frame photo on the sewing table. Plus, I added a few old school classic books on the table, and it’s just all looking so cute.

So of course we found some time to shop at the market ourselves this morning. I picked out a seashell Christmas tree ornament, the girls both picked out a crocheted little friend, we got a couple of bookmarks, and a bag of satsumas from the triplets.

Since it was already 3pm by the time we were settling down, instead of full nap (I was afraid we’d sleep till 6pm!) we just had some quiet movie rest time this afternoon, watching about an hour of “The Sound of Music.” Jeff had tried to pick up our Walmart grocery order, but it was delayed by about an hour and a half, so he never got it.
Then late this afternoon, we went over to spend some time with Grandmommie. (My parents are heavily involved in the local Operation Christmas Child leadership team, so they weren’t there tonight, as they were getting things prepared for the national drop-off week this week.) So I took over a loaf of the good, thick multi-grain bread, and a jar of butternut squash soup from Aldi, and I made grilled cheese and soup for dinner.

My sweet girlies, with my sweet Grandmommie. This is just the sweetest photo to me 🙂

Of course both of them fell asleep on the car ride home, and Addie didn’t even wake up when the lights came on in the car when we got home.

Got some cuddles in with Pennie girl when we got home, and after a few little breakdowns from little sister (she was just wayyyy too overtired), I got both girls to sleep relatively easily, while Jeff went back to Walmart to finally pick up grocery order.

We got the groceries all put away, and once I finish this post, I need to re-do my fingernails, cuz they’re looking awful right now…
