We had a great morning at church, with me singing on the worship team, and Jeff running the computer on the production team. And of course these precious girlies had a good morning too. Afterwards, we went out to lunch at Taqueria Miranda, by a little lake out on West Tennessee, and had good conversation and yummy food.

Emerson picked this mango soda to go with her meal, and when Addison finally had a little taste test, she was blown away by the intense flavor. But she really liked it 🙂

When we got home, Jeff and Addie laid down for a nap. I settled down laying on the heating pad in the recliner, because my back has still been hurting all day. Emerson and Pennie also cuddled up to read on the couch. I made it through about 15 pages of my book, and then took myself a nap right there in the living room, with the cute little lo-fi coffee shop scene playing in the background.

We went back to church tonight for dinner and Connect Groups, and then on Emmie carried my stuff to the car afterwards, looking like a little mini-me, with my purse and lunchbox. (She also had my water bottle, but you can’t see it in the picture.)

Bedtime went quickly and easily, and now I’m going for some pain meds, a snack, and back to the heating ad again.
