Mediterranean Tuna

Quick sister pics on the front porch steps this morning, because Addie wanted to show off her breakfast casserole. 🤣

Today was a girls’ lunch day with Mama and Megan at Hopkins. We had thought about sitting outside, because I thought the weather was supposed to be nicer, but it turned out to be gray and humid, so we stayed in the nice a/c inside. And lunch was delicious, we had a great time, as always. I had the Mediterranean tuna salad (we all love this salad here), and mom and meg shared two sandwiches (and I had a bite out of each one), and those were Meg’s chips. I had to splurge with their mint sweet tea though, because I’m obsessed with that stuff.

On the way home tonight, we took a slightly different route, down through some back neighborhoods and roads we’ve never been on before, and just happened to spot a Little Free Library! Obviously we had to stop and check, but we didn’t find anything we wanted today. At least now we can add another one to our maps of ones near our house.

The girls had a bath when we got home, while I was working in the kitchen. I multi-tasked by making some jasmine rice in my rice cooker and washing dishes at the same time, all while the girls were in the bath. Then I just heated up the leftover pork from Tuesday night, and a can of seasoned butter beans. Super easy, very quick, still delicious.

We had some couch snuggles and tv time after dinner, and then tried to get the girls in bed at a decent time, which worked partially well 🙂 I’m now watching last night’s episode of Survivor, and I’m going to paint my nails while I finish it up!
