My adorable matching girls, BOTH ready to go back to school today! Hooray!
Addison found this little dog in Emmie’s room yesterday, and has been obsessed with it for the past 24 hours. She wouldn’t even let me leave it in the car, so we had to walk into school with it, and then discreetly sneak it away from her before I left.
And as I was walking out of the school, Bo and the trippies were walking in, and they were so excited to see me! They said they were brining in family photos for their classes, but they hadn’t taken their morning picture and wanted me to take their picture today.
So the girls were playing with my wand all weekend, and just wandering around with it. Apparently Addie slipped it into my lunchbox at some point, and then I didn’t notice when I was just throwing stuff in the morning. But when I got to work and started pulling out my snacks and such, lo & behold, I had a wand in my lunch bag! Haha 🙂 (This is specifically Luna Lovegood’s wand, because she’s my favorite.)
I started book #3 on audio in my favorite fantasy series this afternoon, and I’m very excited to dive into this and “read” it for the second time.
When we got back to daycare after picking up Emerson from school, Bo and the trippies were walking out, and the girls were all so excited to see each other. Just look at these two cuties!
We had a Stouffer’s chicken enchilada casserole bake thing, with some rice and beans, and although Emmie didn’t love the casserole, Jeff, Addie and I did, so that’s a win 🙂
Oh, since Addison is on antibiotics right now, it’s messing up her poor little tummy. So this morning at school, she had two “uncontained” blowouts before lunchtime. So she messed up her floral romper she started the day in. And then she messed up her backup outfit in her school bag. And then apparently all the school could find for her was this little boys dino onesie, and dang if she isn’t still hilariously adorable in it!
The girls had bath time together, and then an after-bath snack while we watched “Bluey,” and then it was time to start getting ready for bed.
Both girls did really well with bedtime tonight, and were asleep in no time flat. I stayed up too late last night, and woke up early this morning, and I’ve just been totally exhausted all day. So I’m going to make myself go to bed early for a change, and hopefully I can get some good rest tonight!
