Library & Hibachi

We had a very slow, lazy morning at home. We actually slept in a little but until 7:30, then had some cereal, and watched “Onward” on Netflix. Eventually, we got up around 10am and started cleaning the living room with our current favorite YouTube music playlist on the TV, and got a load of laundry started. After I vacuumed,  Emmie read a book to Elsa, so very sweetly.

We had a short, chill visit to the Lake Jackson library after we all got dressed, where we checked out some more kids books and the girls played with the giant Legos.

Oh, and Emerson lost another tooth this morning She wiggled that little guy back and forth for so long this morning, she just wiggled it right out!

Jeff wanted to try the new Fuji Express Hibachi for lunch, so we splurged and ordered way too much food. (This photo was before we received one more sushi roll and the crab rangoon.) It was really good, but we definitely ordered too much. The girls split a kids chicken hibachi, and still only ate half (they split the leftovers for dinner), and we brought home basically a whole roll of leftover sushi.

After lunch, we got back home around 1pm, and then fought Addie for a long time trying to get her down for a nap. It was at least 2:30 by the time we finally just “gave up” and her and I slept in the recliner together, and didn’t wake up until almost 5pm.

As soon as I was awake, Emmie wanted to play waitress, because she had made this little cookie with a mint leaf on the side, and “turquoise water drink,” and even a $5 bill for me to pay with.

We had a little bit of playtime, and I worked on my puzzle, and then we all had leftovers for dinner – hibachi for the girls, and pizza for Jeff and I.

Jeff got Addison in the bath tub in the evening, and my sweet Emmie girl actually cheered when I told her she could help me wash the dishes. She is seriously the best girl.

Both girls went to sleep easily, and even though it’s only 9pm, I’m already super sleepy too. Thinking we might just fall asleep watching a movie anytime now…
