I love this little girls tiny legs! And of course she’s always cute in a romper.
Two years ago, Grandmommie spent the third week of Emerson’s life with us, and we all enjoyed our time together. Look how tiny and sweet, and that dark hair!
Lunch today was a pepperoni lean pocket, with a couple other random things, and I finished reading “Educated.” It was good, but frustrating. But honestly I just don’t feel like talking about it right now… (I’m also distracted because we’re watching YouTube videos.)
Here’s a few school pics from today…
We had “home-cooked” Chinese food for dinner tonight, and man those frozen potstickers from Publix were delicious! Emmie ate two of them, plus a TON of chicken fried rice.
We did some crazy hair in the bath tub, but we had a great bath time, and we didn’t even use the crayons this time!
Jeff got all the trim pieces put back on the door tonight, but now we still have to do some putty on the new nail holes, then touch up the paint.
Good grief this girl is cute!
Before bedtime, we had some packages to open. I might have found a few sales last week, and they all got delivered today. One was my new Grove order. I tend to stick with the same products, but that’s because I love them now. Plus I got some new face wipes to try. (Click here for a $35 free gift on your first purchase, and I’ll get a $10 referral credit!)
I also got some t-shirts from Threadless last week, when they were in sale for $10. I originally was picking out the Stranger Things ones for the boys birthday gift, and decided to get Jeff the Mordor one (Lord of the Rings), and the bunny one for me (Alice & Wonderland).
And Old Navy was also having a giant sale last week (thanks Meg, for letting me know!), so I spent $92 on clothes (& shipping) for all five of us. Emmie got the most stuff, because her stuff was the cheapest. And it might sound like a lot, but I got 2 boys pants, 2 boys polos, 1 woman’s dress, 1 man’s moisture wicking shirt, 4 toddler dresses, 1 toddler bathing suit. I can’t remember, but I think I saved more than I spent, since it was all on super sale!
Oh, and the fourth package was the new prescription steroid cream for my hand. It’s apparently so brand new, that normal pharmacies don’t carry it yet, so it had to be filled at a “specialty” pharmacy in Tampa, and shipped to me. Also, thank the Lord for health insurance, because that stuff would have been $800+, but it was free with insurance!
Emmie did really well for bedtime tonight, and the whole process (diaper change, books, lullabies), only took about 20 minutes. Score! I did the dishes while Jeff and the boys did some laundry. Now we’re just watching random, funny YouTube videos, snuggled on the couch. I’ll probably go to bed soon and read a bit. Also, random note, I’ve been sleeping in a really light-weight sweatshirt lately (Jeff loves to have the fan on super high), and it had been so. cozy. That is all, good night 😊
