Festive Office

You guys! Addison stayed in the trundle bed the whole night last night! This is how I found these two cuties at 6:30am this morning, still snoozing away! We’re hoping we can get her used to sleeping in a bed by herself, and then maybe transition her to own bed soon…

Got them all bundled up on this cold, wet, rainy morning, and they were just pumped to use their own umbrellas to walk Addison into school today.

My coworkers and I worked together today to make the office a little bit more festive, putting up a tree and some other decor around the common areas. The tree is a little bare bones kinda fella, but he’s still cute!

Tonight was the last night of gymnastics for this current fall session. They worked a little bit, but they mostly did just fun games and contests, and they had a great night! And I got started on a new library book.

She really is the strongest little girl I know, and I’m always so proud of her, but she has truly advanced so much over these past few months in her class. I told her I wanted one more picture of her, and she struck this pose on her own, because she knows she’s strong!! And she loves when her coach does her hair in these super high messy buns, like a unicorn horn.

Jeff made us chicken nuggets with mac & cheese for dinner tonight, and we were more than ready to eat when we got home.

After Emerson took a shower, and I got Addison changed into her jammies, we all went a little crazy playing and tussling on my bed before bedtime. Including Pennie, obviously.

But then Addie stayed with Daddy for her bedtime book, so that Emmie and I could read some more in Harry Potter. Our goal is to finish before she gets out of school for Christmas break (so she can take her AR test on it!), so we’re trying to stay on track!

And then we got them both to sleep back in Emerson’s room again tonight! Addison claimed she wasn’t even tired, and started to throw a little fit. But the lullaby playlist never fails, and always lulls them right to sleep!

And here’s where Sheppy was chillin’ today – he wanted to do some coloring or crosswords on my activity tray! 😄

Currently watching this weeks episode of Survivor from last night, wrapped up in a fluffy house robe trying to stay warm, because it is chilly out there, and in here!
