Fall Festival 2022

Addie was SO excited to see Aunt Meggie this morning, she didn’t want to take a picture for Mommy, she just wanted to run to Aunt Meggie!

I was on praise team again this morning, so I was at church at 8am, and Jeff and the girls came at 9:30am. Then we had an incredible morning at church, just like every week. We had a quick lunch after church, then Emmie and I laid down together (I finished my super cute Kindle book before falling asleep), and Jeff and Addie just slept cuddled up in the recliner together.

Then we got the girls dressed super quickly after our naps, and headed back up to church for this years’ Fall Festival!

Look at these two beautiful princesses!! Emerson didn’t last long with the heels, wand, and crown, but she was still just as cute with just the dress. And both of them were just the most adorable Belle and Ariel I’ve ever seen!

We put Addison in the bounce house right at the very beginning of everything before any other kids got in there, and she was so cute and happy. Then some others came in and jumped around her, and she thought it was the most fun thing and was just squealing and laughing. We had to have one of our little friends carry her out for us, because she just did not want to leave.

As always, we love the petting zoo from Redemptive Love Farm.

And Emerson demolished this little cotton candy all by herself. (We know Grammy would be proud of that!)

Loved the Preschool Zone, with little crafts and tiny games perfect for the littlest ones, like our Addie Pie.

Delicious fried Oreo’s (and the not-pictured-lemonade which was also super good) from Love Gurlies.

After the hayride, Emmie wanted to go back to the bounce houses a million times, so I took Addie back to love on the animals again.

We had such a great time tonight, and we loved hanging out with our church friends and church family!

Afterwards, we also made a quick run to visit Nana so she could see the girls in their costumes, and then we grabbed a late dinner on the way home. It was late by the time we got the girls down, but they were so tired, that it was really easy and they were asleep very quickly.

Excited for another day of fun and costumes and family and candy tomorrow!
