My baby girl was so cute and this hand me down Minnie mouse dress today, and she loved it and was so excited to wear it!
I wanted to make sure I got a picture of the back of her dress with the cute little bow…
And then I told her to turn around and look at me, and she did this. I meant for her to fully turn around and face me again, but this little pose and smile is just so perfect!
I had a normal day of work from 8:00 to 5:00, and ate another sweet potato for lunch. Picked up my little girl and we headed home, where she asked if she could run around on the grass for a few minutes after getting the mail, before going inside.
We had a super gourmet dinner of a frozen cheese pizza and cheese noodles. And I washed a load of dishes while the pizza baked, of all the random cups and Tupperware that have been collecting for the last few days, even though I haven’t actually been cooking lately…
For the past few days, Emerson has been dying for me to do this face mask, and I finally remembered tonight. She thought it was the coolest funniest thing, and was so interested in it. (Make sure you see her tiny little face in the reflection in the mirror at the bottom of the photo.)
We watched a little bit of “Zootopia” curlled up on the couch together, and then did a little coloring and reading before bedtime.
Little Miss Independent had to put her own socks on her feet tonight, with absolutely no help from Mommy. And she did really good!
We read a couple of books, and had a lot of hugs, and although she wasn’t tired and didn’t want to go to bed, I did finally convince her to calm down and get ready to sleep. My candle is burning and I’m settled in to watch another episode or two of “Emily in Paris” before bedtime.
