Espresso Patronum

So Jeff actually took these morning sister pics today, and apparently Emmie was a little hangry, and worried about getting to school on time, so she wasn’t in the mood for photos.

But they stopped on the way to school for a special breakfast treat, and that made her happy and content, and Jeff said she was singing along so sweetly to “Everything at Your Feet,” which is one of Jeff’s favorite worship songs right now.

And I took this little peanut to the ENT this morning, for a quick post-op check-up after she got her second set up tubes put in and her adenoids removed. Everything was looking great though, and she had a good report!

She specifically told me how to do her hair like this today, and it really is very cute.

And since she was obviously a very good little patient during her check-up, she got a little lollipop for the road!

And since I was a good mommy, I got myself a fancy latte from The Frother’s Daughter on my way into the office. This one was the Espresso Patronum, which is Harry Potter inspired, and it was sooo good! Especially with that pumpkin drizzle on top.

We got a picture of Emmie and her classmates from her teacher, using play-doh as part of their math lesson today.

Emmie and I both had to be at church early tonight, so I picked her up, and ordered us dinner in the McDonald’s app on our way to church. Jeff picked up Addie and they had dinner at Taco Bell, and then they came to church at the regular time for the Wednesday night prayer service.

We had a great prayer meeting, and I got to see Meg and baby Hayden for a few minutes at the end of church too.

And then when we got home, Emmie had some homework to do, so her and I worked on that, while Jeff got Addie ready for bedtime.

That little 300-piece puzzle I started last night was super fun and easy. Jeff and I worked on it together last night, and we literally finished the whole thing in one hour. I kinda wanna take it apart, and re-do the whole thing again tonight…

This little cuddle pile on the couch with Addie and Pennie and Daddy at bedtime was so very cute.

My quick dinner at 5:30 feels like a long time ago, so I’m gonna need a little snack, and then settle in for a little bit of Netflix time.

This was actually last night, but it was after I posted my blog, so I wanted to include it tonight. I just love how she was laying there with her head on the pillows, just so cozy and at home.
