Disheveled Joseph

I don’t know about y’all, but this Monday morning was a morning, if you know what I mean. We had a hard time getting out of bed, we were so sleepy, and then all sorts of little things kept going wrong here and there, but we did eventually make it out the door. However, Addie wasn’t ready when we were, so we couldn’t get sister pics together today.

Jeff didn’t get a picture of Addie at school today, but he did get this video, and I love how you can hear her just chatting away towards the end of the video.

Megan was craving a salad today, so her, mom and I met up at Hopkins. Meggie and I both ordered the Mediterranean Tuna salad, which has beans, olives, peppers, onions, tomatoes & feta cheese, and it’s sooo good.

Mom put a couple of our pictures in ChatGPT today, and these little cartoon versions are so cute!

All these cartoon kids are cute, but Addison actually looks exactly like her real-life self. And Hayden is so adorable!

We had sloppy joe’s for dinner, which Jeff and I loved, but the girls fought us over. Addie scraped all the meat off her bun, ate a few bites of bread, and then ate her sides. But I fed her a bite of the meat, and she realized she liked it, and then I got her to finish all of it. Emmie had kind of a rough night, and I never got her to eat her sandwich, but she did eat three helpings of parmesan noodles.

Anyways, to get her to calm down and laugh, we told her about a meme I saw the other day about a guy at a “fancy restaurant” ordering an “uncouth joseph” instead of a sloppy joe. Then we wanted some synonyms for “sloppy,” so ChatGPT gave us some good ones, and (I think) we all picked Disheveled Joseph. All that to say though, we had no pictures from dinner, because of all the chaos.

But then the girls decided they were still hungry, and they each wanted a plain piece of white bread for their after-dinner snack time. So they cuddled up under a blanket together, on Pennie’s brand new bed that Jeff just picked up after work today. But they were so cute and cozy!

Then at bedtime, they were very sweet and snuggly, but also very sleepy and ready for bedtime.

Once again, I have a sink full of dirty dishes piled up from the last few days that I really have to take care of tonight. So at least I’ll get some good audio book time in, while I wash up for the next 30 minutes or so…
