Dirty Chai & Turkey Pita

Beautiful, silly little girlies this morning, loving on each other.

And lest you think she forgot a choker today, after I left, she put on TWO before she headed off to school with Daddy.

A couple of cutie pics of Addie at school today.

My work friend Toni (who’s a supervisor in another unit) offered to treat her staff to coffee’s from Lucky Goat today. Not all of them took her up on it, so I was joking around like, “I’ll join your unit today!” And she was nice enough to bring me a coffee of my choice back to the office for me! I got a dirty vanilla iced chai (I added a couple Splenda packets), and it was really yummy, and such a nice treat. So thank you again, Toni!

I made a little turkey & roasted red bell pepper pita today, with garlic hummus and pita chips on the side, and it was so good. Especially with my special drink.

Making good progress on my book this week – all the way at page 215 by the end of lunch time, and I’ll definitely be reading as much as I can again before bedtime tonight.

We had a hectic evening after work/school, getting McDonald’s on the way to church and eating in the car, so that I could get to praise team practice on time, while Jeff was at home feeling not-so-great. But we had a great night of praise and prayer at church. Aunt Meggie and Addie were holding hands walking out of church together, on our way to get Emmie. So very sweet.

Of course it was bedtime as soon as we got home (after they both had a little bedtime snack as usual), and they both settled down calmly and easily. Like I said, Jeff’s not feeling well tonight, so he’ll probably go to bed early, and I’ll try to read until I simply can’t hold my eyes open any longer…
