Addison was just all over the place this morning, and I couldn’t get her to sit or even stand still for a photo. So this is the best we got!
She had a “breakfast cookie” this morning (which is what Emmie calls the chewy chips ahoy cookies), and she still had some of it smeared on her cute little face.
We were excited to see Grammy and our trippie girls again this morning!
And Emmie had a good drop-off with Daddy.
I made a turkey, provolone & hummus bagel sandwich for lunch at the office today, and it was really yummy. I wish I would have thought to take some lettuce and tomato with me, but it was still good, and I think I’ll repeat it again tomorrow.
Got a couple cute photos of Addie Pie from school today.
Cutie girls headed out to the car together at the end of the day.
Emmie helped Daddy with a little project at home tonight, and even got to use the electric drill.
And Addie had herself a cookie for a little pre-dinner appetizer.
The plan tonight was crab cakes, but they fell apart tremendously, so it was kinda just a pile of crab-cake-hash, and it wasn’t very good. I ate it, because it wasn’t that terrible, but no one else ate it… The sweet potato tots were delicious though! 😉
The girls had bath time together after dinner, and while I bathed them and washed their hair, Jeff got started washing up some of the dishes. Emmie was still hungry, so I made her a PB&J, and then we went to her room for her bedtime. We read one of the library books we picked out a few weeks ago, and what we didn’t realize when she picked the one with the hen on the front page, is the book is about Passover Seder, and the hen is making matzah. So I had to try explain some of those things a little bit.
While Emerson and I read our books and did all our usual stuff, Addison fell asleep quickly with Jeff rocking her in the living room. There are just a few dishes left to get washed up, so once I take care of that quickly, I can relax a little before heading off to bed.
