Cowgirls & Horses

Sweet little girls in their cow-print dresses. And obviously little cowgirls need to have their horses, so they’ve got their little horse-in-a-purse souvenir’s they got from the Dixie Stampede on spring break.

We had a really great morning at home, everyone up early and dressed quickly, with no tears or fights or issues. Even Jeff was ready early today! Plus, I got dinner started in the crock-pot! And since we were all early, Jeff took both girls to their schools, and I just went straight to work.

I found this little Supergirl Funko Pop at Ross for less than $5 over the weekend. I have a whole collection of female characters in my window sill at the office, so I as glad to find and add her too.

And then Jeff also got off work early today to take Emerson to gymnastics. And wouldn’t you know it, they ended up back at Beignets & Brew for their after school, pre-gym daddy-daughter date.

And after gymnastics, Jeff picked up Addie before heading home. So I had the day free of drop-off and pick-up, and that was actually super weird. So I came straight home again after work, and since I had started the honey sesame chicken in the crock-pot this morning, all I had to do was shred it, then make some jasmine rice & a bag of steamed broccoli, and things were ready to go.

Addie wanted to sit by Mommy tonight, so we put the tiny keyboard stool by me, and girlfriend ate her entire bowl, plus all of Emeron’s and Jeff’s broccoli too.

Emerson had a bit of a tummy ache, so we gave her a kids Pepto. She ate a tiny dinner and then just watched her show on her Kindle for a long while. She felt better after a little bit, and then wanted another small helping of dinner. And by bedtime, she was totally fine and back to normal. I think she was just super hungry when she got home, and just needed some food in her belly. (She said her lunch got cut short from the tornado warnings, and they didn’t even get to finish their food before having to shelter for an hour.)

I had a little bit of help from my hubby and my tiny girl on my campground puzzle tonight, and it’s almost done now at this point. I’ll probably be able to finish the last few pieces tonight after I finish writing this post.

After watching an episode of Bluey, we read a Bluey book for Addie’s bedtime.

The little girlies are sleeping soundly, and I’m gonna finish my puzzle before my own bedtime.
