Coffee Coozie

We were all off to a sleepy start this morning, after a late night last night. But still happy & smiling!

I was able to try another August special from The Frother’s Daughter this morning, the Twist & Shout, which had caramel and brown sugar and was really tasty. I also got a slice of the lemon blueberry loaf for my breakfast, and it was so soft and yummy.

And check out this super cute coffee coozie I ordered from the TikTok shop recently. This cute little small business shop girl sells all sorts of adorable things, so I got this, plus a Florida-shaped sticker, and two bookmarks. She also has Kindle cases too which I’ve been eye-balling, but just haven’t let myself spend the money on, since I don’t really need a new one… It’s in my shopping cart though, so maybe one day 😉

And then for round two, I went back for some mid-morning caffeine with some friends. And my second coffee (The Breakfast Club) today was actually a treat from a friend, as a thank you for how much I help her at work! So that was so sweet and kind and I was very appreciative of that. 🥰

When I got to school to pick up Addie this afternoon, she had on a different dress than this morning. When I asked her about it, she said, “I went to the sink, and the bubbles got all over me!” So this is actually a hand-me-down dress from the triplets that she hadn’t worn yet, but it’s very cute.

We had a very simple chicken nuggets, rice & lima beans dinner tonight, and everyone ate a good meal. Then we got the girls in the bathtub and let them play and splash around for a long time.

They were both sweaty and sandy and stinky after a couple of hot days at school, but they had fun in the bathtub and got all cleaned up and smelled much better. We took extra hair curling Emmie’s hair tonight, and it was practically perfect. They both colored at the coffee table and I read, while we also watched a few episodes of Bluey.

My sweet girlies were so sleepy tonight, and definitely ready for bedtime. Just look at Addie’s little sleepy eyes!

It was starting to thunder right as I was leaving Emmie’s room, which she was a little scared of. But I promised to come back and check on her, as I do every night, and she settled down and fell asleep. Addie is struggling a little bit more though, so Jeff is still working to get her settled down too.
