Chicken Dinner

OK today we pulled out matching jackets for the day! And they looks so fuzzy and cuddly cozy in them!

Tonight, Jeff and Emerson both had to be at church early, but Addie and I had some free time. So Jeff got CFA for him and Emmie through the drive-thru, we swapped Emmie over to his car, and then Addie and I went inside to eat. We hardly ever get time just me and her, and I loved it! She is so sweet and silly and literally the cutest.

After finishing our meals, we traded in her kids meal toy for an ice cream for her, and I was scrolling on my phone and she saw pictures of Nick Jonas, and I reminded her he was one of the JoBro’s. She was like, “That’s not the one I like, I like the one with tattoos on his arms,” and she wasn’t very interested. But then we saw one of Joe Jonas, in a shirtless vest, with all his tattoos on display, and she was like, “Yeah THAT’S the one I like!” This girl cracks me up 🤣🤣

Wednesday nights are always very late nights after church, and Emerson in particular was exhausted and very much ready for bed once the time came. She was more than ready for sleep, but Addison on the other hand was still giggly and fidgety and couldn’t close her eyes and couldn’t be still. It took almost 30 minutes for Addie to fall asleep, but Emmie was kinda half asleep for most of that time.

Going to grab a small handful of pepperoni slices and a string cheese (yayyy for no-carb snacks, #sarcasm), and finish up the last 20-ish pages of my current library book.
