Jeff took only Addison to school this morning, and since Emerson wasn’t there for sister pics, she found a substitute big sister, her fave Makenzee from our church.

Emerson and I saw this beautiful sunrise over West Tennessee Street today.

And we got this big box of 10 chicken minis to share in the car, and they looked so beautiful with the sunrise 😉

We shared our minis on the way to Emerson’s annual cardiology appointment across town. They take normal vitals like blood pressure, pulse and oxygen. Then she lays down for an EKG, and then lastly we go to a different room for a sonogram/ultrasound of her heart. All-in-all, her heart and everything is still looking great, and her “numbers” are perfect. I don’t really know how to explain it more than that, but it was a great, easy check-up, and her heart doctor is pleased with everything!

My work friend Molly went out to Publix at lunch today, specifically to get these Harry Potter coffee creamers. When she told me she was going, I asked her to get me some too, because I have been looking for these myself for a couple of months. They were two for $7, so she got us both two each. I had it in my afternoon coffee at the office today, and it is goooood! Definitely can’t wait to have it in my morning coffee again tomorrow.

I got stuck at work doing an emergency process until 5:15, but Jeff was able to pick up both girls and get Emerson to the gym on time. Then when I got off work I met them there, and stayed for the class, while Jeff and Addie went home. And of course I had my regular reading hour during gym class.

We did our quick dinner and such after the gym, and then started getting clothes picked out for school tomorrow, and bags packed up for Halloween tomorrow night…
