While getting ready for school this morning, Addie had herself a little fit about wearing her sparkle boots. But Emmie gave her a little kiss on the head, helped her sit on the stack of books, and then she was happy again!
When we got to school, Uncle Bo and the triplets were coming out of school after they dropped off Hayden. Addie and the triplets ran towards each other screeching with excitement, and Riley hollered out, “Addie P! My cousin!” And Ellie never could give a hug to me or Addie, because she said she was “practicing her leaps.” 🤣
And you can see Emerson found herself some lip gloss before school this morning, with those shiny, glossy lips!
After school, Meg called me right as I was starting to buckle Addison into her seat. She said traffic was bad and they weren’t sure they could get there in time to pick up Hayden before closing, so we went back in and scooped him up. We just hung out in the car waiting on them for a few minutes, and all these little blue-eyed kiddos were very happy and excited! He’s just such a sweet, happy little butter ball!
We had a late, rushed dinner by the time we finally got home, and then just had a little bit of time to chill out and Emmie and I colored together.
Addie picked out a little monster book to read together at bedtime, and then we followed it up with two more because she couldn’t get enough.
I didn’t finish coloring my little bookstore earlier, so I might go work on that for a little bit now, or I might pick up my new book to read, that I just started earlier tonight, and have only read about 7 pages of so far…
