So for sister pics this morning, Emerson wanted to be in front of the old shelf, but Addison wanted to be in front of the new shelf. So we compromised and took a pic by each 🤣
Addison also found this little brush and comb set that Grammy had given her, and was just obsessed with it and carried it around all morning.
Since we have the day off of work tomorrow (thanks to the Governor!), my girl The Frother’s Daughter won’t have her trailer at our empty office building tomorrow, for my weekly special latte. So instead, Emmie and I made a quick trip to their adorable little store for a delicious latte.
And their store is just so cute, with all the adorable decor and touches.
Addison told Jeff she wanted to show him how fast she could run, so please watch this little speedster heading into school. And please notice her with her comb and brush again too. I’m sure Daddy had to convince her to give it back to him, rather than keep it at school.
We just did some chicken strips and fries for dinner at home tonight (the fries didn’t turn out good though), and Addie was so sweet when she found this little cross-stitched cross from Grammy. She was like, “She made this?! I’m so proud of her!”
We’ve been keeping a close eye on the weather all week, trying to decide what to do with our extra day off work. As of now, it looks like it’s gonna be a good day at Panama City Beach, so we made a quick trip to Walmart to pick up some snacks and fruits we can pack up and take on a beach road trip. And just look at my big girl, being the biggest helper, so cute and grown!
We got the groceries taken care of, and cleaned out the car (that was much needed and way overdue), put the food away, and then watched an episode of Bluey. When it was time for bed, Addie decided she wanted to read a book in her bed again, instead of ours, so Emmie read her a story from our Bluey story-book.
I am now going to go cut up some fresh strawberries and a whole pineapple, so we can take that to the beach tomorrow. Praying and hoping and crossing our fingers the weather outlook stays bright and sunshine-y for tomorrow!
Update – mango, pineapple & strawberries all cut and ready, plus a small container of blueberries too!
