Bookstore Browsing

The girls were both out of school today, so I also took the day off work to hang out with them. And we had the best, most chill day together. Cereal for breakfast, morning playtime, and then lunch at home too. We finally got dressed around noon, to head out for a few errands.

We attempted some Amazon returns at Whole Foods, but the place was so nuts we just spent 10 minutes driving to the other end of the parking lot and leaving. Instead, we browsed the Goodwill bookstore for a bit, and then hit up some Little Free Library locations we don’t usually visit.

We also ran into Aldi for some frozen meatballs, before heading back home for some afternoon “feet off the floor” time, which means you don’t have to nap, but you have to keep your buns planted on the couch to rest. I read for a bit, and then had a 15-minute cat nap before starting on a very early dinner. I washed up some dishes, and then we had the early bird special around 5:30, mozzarella baked meatballs.

Then we went to church for our Good Friday service. I sang on the worship team, and Jeff ran the computer for the screens and words. Jeff’s parents also joined us at church tonight, and then we went out to DQ for Good Friday ice cream afterwards!
